EVC Business Office
The EVC Business Office (EVCBO) supports and serves the units of the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor – Academic Affairs including the Office of the EVC, Academic Personnel Services, Resource Administration, Institutional Research, Stuart Collection, Undergraduate Education and its constituent units, Academic Integrity Office, Office for Students with Disabilities & Summer Session. We also provide business office support to the Teaching + Learning Commons and Graduate Division. The EVCBO also serves the Office of the Vice Chancellor – Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, the PATHS Program as well as the campus community centers under VCEDI's purview – Cross-Cultural Center, Women’s Center, LGBT Resource Center, Black Resource Center, Raza Resource Centro & Inter-Tribal Resource Center.
We oversee operational functions for these units, including budget and financial management; policy and procedure development, interpretation, and implementation; human resources (including academic, staff, and student recruitment & hiring); payroll; internal control and risk management; space and facilities; health and safety, and computing.
The EVC Business Office also provides consultation and guidance on a variety of matters to the Divisional/Deans Offices, Colleges Business Office, UCSD Extension, Library, Preuss School, and Office of VC Student Affairs.

- Emergency procedures/information (fire extinguishers, assembly area, etc.)
- Express Card & Travel Card requests
- Facilities/maintenance, cleaning, key & pest control requests
- Furniture orders (including EHS/Ergonomic Resource Fund requests)
- Human Resources (recruitments, PPS updates, job card updates, etc.)
- Payroll/Timekeeping
- Purchasing Requisitions/Purchase Orders (independent contractors, etc.)
- Surplus/transfer requests

Complete the required training/tutorials and forward certifications to your DSA with your request - Get IT desktop support*?
1) Go to servicedesk.ucsd.edu and log in with your AD credentials to report something broken or to make a request for service/information using the ITS Service Desk Portal. Once a request ticket is established, you can track the status of your request in the portal.2) Email your request to admincomplex@ucsd.edu -- this also generates a request ticket3) Call x64357 (6-HELP) for urgent IT requests*Does not apply to staff in Graduate Division, who have their own IT support
